Quick answer
Ask for QC photos only after the exact code, color, size, material, included pieces, and order stage are clear. Request specific angles and measurements, then record what the images cannot prove.

Tie the request to one identifiable item
Include the direct link, product code, color, size, material or version, quantity context, and order stage. A photo set without those fields can be visually useful yet impossible to connect to the intended product.
Ask that the identifier appear in the same message or inspection record as the images rather than relying on filename order.
Build a photo plan from the category
| Product | Core views | Useful close-ups |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing QC photos | Front, back, sides, inside, label, and requested measurements. | Fabric, seams, closures, print position, and defects. |
| Shoes | Both sides, toe, heel, outsole, inside, size marking, and paired view. | Material, stitching, labels, hardware, and measurement method. |
| Bag QC photos | Front, back, sides, base, interior, straps, and dimensions. | Hardware, edges, closures, lining, and attachment points. |
| Electronics | All sides, labels, ports, included parts, and powered state where appropriate. | Connector, compatibility marking, condition, and packaging. |
Name the stage the photos represent
Pre-order sample, production sample, selected unit, packing inspection, and received parcel are different stages. A clean sample image does not prove every later unit will match, and a parcel image does not establish how production was controlled.
Record the date and stage beside the links so later readers do not promote one photo set into a broader guarantee.
Make measurement photos reproducible
Request the unit, tape position, start and end points, item orientation, and stated tolerance. If the size guide uses one method and QC uses another, write that the numbers are not directly comparable.
Ask for a difference log, not “looks good”
| Detail | Expected source | QC observation | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Color or finish | Named variant and reference image. | Describe visible difference and lighting limits. | Accept, clarify, or request another view. |
| Measurement | Chart and stated method. | Record value, unit, and tape position. | Compare only if methods align. |
| Included parts | Listing or quotation. | List what is visible and missing. | Resolve before the next step. |
Use a bounded QC request message
“For [code/link], [color], [size], and [material/version], please provide current QC views for the [sample/selected unit/packed order] stage. I need [angles/details] and measurements taken at [reference points] in [unit]. Please tie the images to the item code and date, and note any visible difference from the agreed specification.”
Keep the limits beside the images
QC images cannot prove brand authenticity, ownership of the photos, supplier identity, stock, delivery, refund eligibility, or what every unit in a batch will look like. Compression, glare, distance, and white balance can also change visible color or shape.
Archive the request and reply together
- Product code, link, variant, quantity context, and stage.
- Requested angles and measurement method.
- QC image URLs or files and observation date.
- Visible differences, missing views, and image limitations.
- Decision made and the party responsible for the next step.

Common reader questions
How do I request QC photos?
Tie the request to one code, variant, order stage, date, required angles, measurement method, and the decision each image should support.
What can wholesale QC photos show?
They can document observable details of one photographed sample, unit, packing stage, or parcel when the identity and context are clear.
Which QC photos for bulk order review are useful?
Use category-specific views, measurable details, included pieces, packing evidence, and a difference log tied to the agreed specification.
What does wholesale sample inspection tell me?
It can show the inspected sample at a stated stage; it does not guarantee every later production unit or the transaction outcome.
How should a product QC photo request be written?
Name the code, color, size, material, order stage, required angles, reference measurements, unit, and visible difference to record.
Which bag QC photos should I request?
Ask for front, back, sides, base, interior, straps, dimensions, hardware, closures, lining, edges, and attachment points.
Which clothing QC photos should I request?
Ask for front, back, sides, inside, label, fabric, seams, closures, print position, defects, and measurements taken at stated points.
